Clark County Family YMCA Spring Sports
The Clark County Family YMCA offers basketball in the Spring. Our league is designed to enhance self-esteem with an emphasis on fair play. Everyone plays equal time and there are no tryouts. We offer co-ed, girls, and boys basketball leagues. Team Equality
Team equality is of primary importance. The YMCA can not guarantee that requests for team placement will be honored. However, we will do our best to accommodate requests.

Volunteer Coaches Needed
We are looking for volunteers to serve as coaches in our YMCA Youth Sports Program. The time commitment is approximately three hours per week: 1 hour for practices, 1 hour for games and 1 hour for planning & maintaining contact with parents and players. No experience necessary. Practice plans will be provided upon request. Serve as a role model for parents and youth involved in the program.

Important Basketball Dates
Registration: Opens February 14th and closes March 28th. Early bird registration ends March 14th.
Coach Calls: Coaches will start calling players on March 31st.
Mandatory Coaches Meeting: Thursday April 3rd at 7:00 p.m. in classroom 1 at the YMCA
Practices: Start April 7th.
K – 3rd Jamboree: We will be holding a Jamboree for all participants in the K-3rd leagues. During the jamboree players will get to know their coaches and have an opportunity to work on skills at different stations run by the coaches. The Jamboree will be held at the YMCA on April 12th. K – 1st Jamboree will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and the 2 –  3rd Jamboree will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Start the week of April 14th.
